FOOD DIARY: TANITH FROM @SHELOVESEATING

I love to see what other people eat - it's super inspiring, gives you new ideas what to cook and eating habits are just interesting. That's why I thought it might be a good idea to share some healthy food diaries on here... and our first ''What I Eat In A Day'' comes from Tanith (@sheloveseating). Food Diary

Hi! My name is Tanith and I’m 21 years old. I’ve been thriving on a vegan diet for a little bit more than three years now. Most of the time I nourish my body with all the good stuff – but once in a while I enjoy a piece of cake or some cookies as well. Balance is key! The good thing: healthy can be really delicious as well. Besides going to uni and my private life I regularly lift weights at the gym which is why I always keep an eye on my protein intake as well. I hope this little food diary can be a little inspiration to some of you.

 

9:00 AM - BREAKFAST

Gesundes Frühstück

Before breakfast I always make sure to hydrate myself with at least half a liter of water (most of the time with the juice of 1/2 lemon). Afterwards I had a smoothie consisting of banana, oats, the Muscle Power Mix, ground vanilla, cinnamon, a splash of oat milk and hot berries - the perfect combination! I also added some kiwi, mulberries and cacao nibs.

1:00 PM- LUNCH

Gesundes Mittagessen

Simple but delicious. Marinated tofu out of the oven with red thai rice, peas, spinach, carrots and bell pepper. 

4:00 PM - SNACKS

I always snack between my meals. Today I had a matcha latte, an orange and some dates with walnuts (definitely try this combination!).


7:00 PM - ABENDESSEN

Gesundes Abendessen

To end the day (food-wise) I had this african rice stir-fry with kidney beans and cashews.
