Carrot Cake Protein Porridge

Oatmeal! By now you must have noticed that this is a staple food here at the Your Superfoods Office :D We just can't get enough! And we love to play around with different flavour combinations, from chocolate to matcha... there's a recipe for everybody's liking. Today we want to share this delicious and easy Carrot Cake Porridge recipe, which is just perfect for fall! Comforting, warm and with a looot of delicious spices. Our Muscle Power Mix adds a good amount of protein to keep you full longer and provide your body with all the essential amino acids. Try it  it really is fingerlickin' good (for you)!

CARROT CAKE PROTEIN PORRIDGE

INGREDIENTS:

  • 15g Muscle Power Mix
  • 1 cup of oats
  • 1 large carrot (grated)
  • 100ml coconut milk
  • 150ml water
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons raisins
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla powder

TOPPINGS:

  • granola, mulberries, coconutchips, cashew butter (optional)

DIRECTIONS:

  • Combine all of the ingredients except for the Muscle Power Mix in a small pot and cook on medium heat.
  • Keep stirring, so nothing burns or sticks to the bottom of the pan.
  • Take off the heat and add the Muscle Power Mix.
  • Pour into a bowl.
  • Add toppings of choice.
  • Enjoy!

 SUPER TIP: Use more or less liquids depending on how thick or runny you like your porridge!
